Located in Taihu New Town in Wujiang District, this base is a project planned to cover 4,000mu of ground area. Its first phase 2,000mu, taking up more than 2 million square meters, will be jointly undertaken by Guoce Group, China Communications Construction Company Ltd., and CAS Holdings. Listed as a major project of Jiangsu Province, the base will integrate high-tech enterprise headquarters, financial services, scientific research institutes, and business incubators. It is committed to developing into a smart city center in the Yangtze River Delta and becoming a base seriously practicing industry-city integration with industrial complexes as cores. Construction on Phase I of the project officially started on September 8, 2017, with more than 60 elite enterprises and national R&D institutions already signing letters of intent for moving to the park. Phase I is expected to be put to use in 2019.
