This park is located at the east side of Beijing Capital International Airport and is close to Beijing Airport Economic Core Zone; neighboring Beijing Administrative Sub-center, it has a total building area of 2.7 million square meters. As the first national-level geographic information high-tech Industrialization Base approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology, it was officially launched on December 20, 2012 and is now a national strategic and emerging industry integrated platform for geographic information and a place gathering internationally influential national-level geographic information technology enterprises on a large scale. With its construction basically completed at present, it plans to attract more than 300 domestic and overseas enterprises in high-tech R&D, geographic information, high-tech, financial services, and so forth, growing into a park that creates more than RMB100 billion in GDP and over 600,000 employment.
